Brit & Euro Car Show, 1 March 2026

Brit & Euro Car Show, 1 March 2026

The day started off dark, overcast, cool and slightly drizzly as we gathered in the W&E Music School carpark at 6:45am before heading off to Lloyd Elsmore Park for the B&E Car Show and setting up our club display.

We had 17 cars in our display ranging in models and years from Ken Williams 1958 Red 220S Cabriolet to Cornelius Boertjens 2017 Blue AMG GT S, as well as a couple of cars/owners from outside of the club who wanted to be part of the Mercedes group. No worries I said, the more the merrier.

The weather was being kind to us on the day, as the clouds gradually cleared, the sun came out and a slight breeze kept us cool.

After setting up the marquee, tables and chairs, it was time for us to relax and watch the other clubs slowly arriving and getting themselves organised before the 10am start for public entry.

Throughout the day, we all had a good look around at the other cars and there were some beautifully restored examples and some amazing performance cars also. B&E is a great, free to enter show for the whole family with a huge variety of different makes and models of cars.

As expected, our members made good use of the food trucks with many coffees, bacon & egg rolls and chips being consumed as the day went on.

Another well supported event ticked off and looking forward to the 2027 event.
